The 22-73952-000BP and 22-74370-000BP are the two cab extender brackets on the Freightliner Cascadia, and both fairings use both. This kit is a complete set for one fairing, upper or lower. Brackets on the same panel wear together, so the kit replaces them all in one teardown instead of one at a time.
Full description
The OEM brackets do not seat tightly at the mating face. Road vibration works the M6 nutsert in the fiberglass sleeper wall until the bolt hole wears oblong, a documented failure on the Cascadia. Every bracket in this kit is built in carbon fiber reinforced plastic to a tight fit at the mating face, which keeps the cab extender in place longer and the gap to the trailer closed, helping hold fuel economy. Nutserts that have already pulled require wall repair before installation.
