Join the Program.
At Bushido Performance, our engineering focus is simple: increasing the service life of our components. We believe that everything we build should withstand the rigorous demands of daily operation, which is why we’ve developed our program to validate our designs in real-world environments. We are currently seeking owner-operators and fleet drivers to integrate our pre-release components into their active routes. This is a collaborative process designed to gather the long-term durability data that standard shop testing cannot replicate. There is no cost to participate. We provide the hardware, you oversee the installation and a 90-day evaluation period, and in return, you keep the equipment completely free. Your professional feedback is the final step in our development cycle, ensuring every part we release meets our standards for reliability and performance.
Submit your truck's make, model, and year along with a brief overview of your typical routes and duty cycles. This information ensures the hardware is a match for your specific operation. Once your application is approved, you will receive a formal Field Test Agreement to sign electronically and finalize your enrollment.
- $0 cost to you
- 90 days to report
- 5 slots per part
- 1:1 direct to engineering
- Agreement required
Freightliner Cascadia Cab Extender Attachment Arm
This aftermarket attachment arm (Part # 22-74370-000) is a high performance replacement for the Freightliner Cascadia PT-126 (2018–2024) and is designed to secure the left lower cab extender fairing to the cab structure. While it replaces OEM reference 9999-0490, it moves away from standard factory plastics in favor of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic. This material upgrade offers significantly higher structural rigidity and durability, specifically engineered to withstand the constant wind buffeting and vibration of long haul highway miles that often cause factory arms to fatigue.
We are currently looking for Cascadia fleet operators and owner operators to run this arm against their current OEM hardware and report on its real world performance. A key distinction of this part is its precision engineering; it is built to much tighter tolerances than the original factory arm. Because of this, the fitment will feel intentionally firm during installation. This design choice directly addresses the common issue of loosening and sagging that develops in OEM arms over time, ensuring the fairing maintains its aerodynamic position from the first mile to the last. Your feedback on how this carbon fiber composite holds up under pressure will be the primary driver for our next production cycle.
Freightliner Cascadia Cab Extender Small Bracket
This aftermarket cab extender fairing mounting bracket (Part # 22-73952-000) is a reinforced replacement for OEM reference 9999-0491. It is designed to clip into the left lower cab extender assembly alongside the attachment arm (22-74370-000). While the original factory brackets are made from standard plastic, our version is built from Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic for much higher strength and a longer service life. This bracket is compatible with both the P4 (2008–2018) and PT-126 (2018–2024) generations of the Freightliner Cascadia.
We are looking for Cascadia fleet operators and owner operators to field test this bracket against the OEM version and provide feedback on its durability in real world conditions. Like the companion attachment arm, this bracket is engineered to tighter tolerances than the factory original. This means the fit will feel intentionally firm during installation. We built it this way because OEM brackets often loosen over time, leading to fairing vibration; our goal is a fit that stays secure for the life of the part. Your performance reports will help us refine the design for our upcoming production runs.
