22-73952-000 Freightliner Cascadia Cab Extender Attachment Arm

The 22-73952-000BP is a direct replacement for the OEM 22-73952-000 short lower cab extender attachment arm on the Freightliner Cascadia, mounting at the factory locations without drilling or modification.

This arm shares the failure mode of its longer companion. Over time the factory fit relaxes, and sustained road vibration drives the M6 nutsert against the thin fiberglass of the sleeper wall, enlarging the mounting hole until the fastener loses its grip. As the joint gives way, the cab extender panel shifts and resonates. The aerodynamic seal between cab and trailer is lost, and fuel economy declines with it.

Our replacement resolves the problem at the mounting interface. The mating surface is built up to a tighter tolerance, seating the joint solidly under torque and removing the clearance that allows vibration to take hold. Constructed from carbon fiber reinforced composite, the arm delivers strength and fatigue resistance the original thermoplastic cannot, preserving a secure connection over the service life of the truck.
