22-74370-000 Freightliner Cascadia Cab Extender Attachment Arm

The 22-74370-000BP is a direct replacement for the OEM 22-74370-000 long lower cab extender attachment arm on the Freightliner Cascadia, installing at the factory mounting points with no drilling or modification.

The original arm carries a recognized weak point. Its loose factory fit allows the joint to work free over time, elongating the M6 nutsert hole in the fiberglass sleeper wall until the mount can no longer hold. The cab extender panel begins to rattle and flex, compromising the aerodynamic seal between cab and trailer, which reduces fuel economy.

This replacement corrects that failure at its source. A precisely thickened mating face establishes full clamp load the moment the fastener is torqued, closing out the play that lets vibration take hold. Manufactured from carbon fiber reinforced composite, the arm provides strength and fatigue resistance well beyond the original thermoplastic, holding its torque for the life of the truck.
