The A33-1268BP is a fairing reinforcement bracket for the Kenworth T680 Next Gen (2022 and newer), engineered as a direct upgrade to OEM part A33-1268. It mounts within the understep fairing assembly, providing structural rigidity and secure mounting support for the outer panel. Direct bolt on replacement using factory mounting points, no drilling or modifications required.

Full description

The OEM A33-1268 is injection molded in 40% glass filled polypropylene and fails at three points over time: clip walking, wall cracking and fracture at the narrow end. The A33-1268BP addresses each with a closed bridge design, reinforced clip seats, thicker walls and an internal rib structure, built in carbon fiber reinforced plastic.

Buyer warning: copies of this bracket are sold in PETG and ABS. Per manufacturer data, PETG deforms under load at 68 °C and ABS at 87 °C. Both creep under constant step load, leading to cracked mounts and early failure. The A33-1268BP is carbon fiber reinforced plastic only, rated to 170 °C.
