The 76-00908-50BP replaces Carrier switch guard 76-00908-50, a non-stock dealer special order, and fits the Carrier APX display module, part number 12-00663-75 (also supplied as 12-00663-64 and 12-00663-65). It seats over the switch collar and is held by the display unit's own nut.
Full description
A locking screw spans the ON/OFF lever, which helps prevent vibration, contact or cab activity from shutting the reefer unit off by accident and causing a temperature excursion. ON and OFF are embossed on the guard itself, so the switch positions stay readable with it fitted.
Fitment follows the display housing, not the tractor. Any truck pulling a trailer with a Carrier APX unit is covered.
